Currently enjoying our 30th year in business, Water Cannon continues to lead the pressure washer industry in innovation. Our newest wet sand blasting kit is designed to remove unwanted surface contamination such as rust, scale, loose paint, barnacles and debris. The sand and high pressure water work together using venturi siphon technology to more safely clean metals, concrete and other similar surfaces. This Wet Sand Blast Kit simply quick connects to the end of a commercial pressure washer wand. This draws sand automatically through a 26' reinforced lightweight feed hose by using an engineered self venting pickup tube. The venturi siphon technology eliminates the need for an air feed system or other heavy and bulky equipment. It is based on the principle by which you can draw a product through a vacuum due to the pressure and velocity of another product.

Water Cannon's Industrial Sand Blast Kit provides maximum cleaning power with dustless sandblasting capabilities. Similar to the Foam Cannons, these Sandblast kits use the venturi effect to draw sand through a hose where it is expelled at high speed against the cleaning surface with pressurized water. Sandblast kits are impressive cleaning devices as long as your orifice is correct and your draw hose stays dry.

This version of the sandblast kit comes with two threaded nozzles and a 1/4" Male plug for quick installation. Be sure to use the correct sized nozzle for your machine as this will greatly impact the performance of the Industrial Sandblast kit.

• 1 - 1/4" plated steel Male plug to install at blast head inlet

Specs Requirements:

• Requires 3-8 GPM Pressure Washer
• Requires 3,000-5,000 PSI Pressure Washer
• Nozzle must be 0° Threaded nozzle fitting the specs of your machine

Tips:

• Use the right sized nozzle!
• Make sure your blast media is dry
• Keep your draw line (hose) interior dry
• Orient the sand barb (hose) to the top of the blast head so the sand drops into the chamber with the help of gravity, this will also limit the amount of water that could run down the hose if it was at the bottom.
• Once you start cleaning limit the starting and stopping as this will create valleys of settled blast media in the draw hose and create an inconsistent flow of sand when you re-start.

Most dry media will work for specialty applications such as glass beads, walnut shells, baking soda, black beauty and a full array of synthetic or natural products in sizes from 16 to 60 grit. Wet sand blasting controls the sand waste by weighting down the media thus preventing it from becoming an environmental hazard as an airborne pollutant (Check local regulations and always wear protective gear).
