IMPORTANT NOTICE: Look inside the socket past the ball bearings.   If it looks like the figure on the right then you need to replace the oring.  You will find the orings in a plastic bag in two sizes with your owner’s manual.  The larger one for the hose socket and the smaller one for the nozzle socket.  Seat the oring all the way down in the groove as shown in the picture on the left.

Viton O-Ring Maximum Temperature: 400°F

To avoid leaks, Viton o-rings and Buna o-rings for quick connect sockets are necessary to replace from time to time. That is why we sell replacement o-rings in 25 and 100 pack options, and we highly recommend keeping replacement o-rings in your tool box.

The internal seals (o-rings) Water Cannon offers can withstand hot water and most chemical applications. The Viton o rings can withstand temperatures of up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, while the Buna o rings can withstand temperatures of up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
